Roy Lichtenstein

Roy Lichtenstein (1923 - 1997) was an American popart artist. He is best known for his cartoons.

In his free time he painted abstract paintings. In1960 he knew things from advertising and comic strips.

He started to use use grids, dots, black outlines and bright colours, the style who made him famous. From 1962 Lichtenstein used the works of Monet, Picasso and Mondrian as the inspiration for his art and he paints sunsets in their style.

Pupils know some information about Thanksgiving Day. We read a short story(summury) about it, we colour the banner and the ship and the most funny thing was:
the pilgrim's and the indians hat. But the surprise was...THE TURKEY.

Después de conocer la historia del Dia de Acción de gracias, la representamos en el gimnasio del cole,así que os mostramos el pavo, la mesa bien llena de comida , el barco en el que los pregrinos viajaron "Mayflower" y el cartel de Thanksgiving Day
