OWLS, OWLS EVERYWHERE

Aprovechando que ha llegado el otoño, los niños de 3º han usado las hojas de los árboles, material barato, para crear estos búhos.Así les han quedado:

Autumn is here and the 3rd grade pupils have used a really cheap material tocreate their artwork, leaves from the trees around the school. The owls are in our school.Lovely.

FOOD IN MONDRIAN'S STYLE

We study  Food in  Science and it was a good opportunity to draw in some  pictures about food in Mondrian's style.
We saw some pictures of this painter and his influence in Art .We show you some of the artworks.

Aprovechando que en Science estudiábamos "La comida" hemos dibujado comidas pero al estilo del pintor Mondrian. Hemos visto algunas obras de este pintor, nos hemos fijado en cómo pintaba y también cómo ha influido en otros campos del arte.Os mostramos algunos trabajos.

These are the first still life pictures of the 4th graders,they have to paint food and that was the opportunity to explain things about what a still life is and have a look at some famous paintings of this style.

ABORIGINAL ART FOR KIDS

Con el fin de conocer el arte de otras culturas y nuestro afán de presentar a los alumnos diferentes técnicas de trabajo para estimular su creatividad, en esta ocasión hemos visto algún vídeo de artistas australianos utilizando esta antigua forma de representar historias usando lineas diferentes y como colores principales los de la tierra: naranja,marrón,rojo...
En otro vídeo los niños han visto como deben trabajar para conseguir hacer los puntos,puntillismo.Son trabajos de iniciación que este año vamos a perfeccionar, mientras tanto os enseñamos estos.

Los niños han usando el extremo de una pintura(la parte no afilada) y temperas de colores.

Look at these works of aboriginal art,pointillism or dot art,they have used a coloured pen (they have used the flat extreme)and slowly have drawn the dots.It's their first work using this tecnique but we're going to practise  and you know,practise makes perfect.

Los niños de segundo el año pasado terminaron el curso haciendo figuras geométricas chulisimas,alguno de ellos enmarcó su dibujo, esperemos que nos envíe una foto.


The 2nd year pupils drew some artistic geometric shapes ,some of them put the picture in a frame as a deco of their bedrooms we hope they send us pics
