 Aunque  con retraso os presentamos algunos trabajos sobre el dia de acción de gracias , recordad que en el post sobre hojas de otoño también veíamos algún trabajo . Como veis los niños usando platos de cartón han realizado algunos "pilgrims" peregrinos que llegaron de Gran Bretaña a América y comida típica, el maíz.Las mazorcas de maíz las han representado con alubias y maiz.
Buen trabajo chicos.

BIOGRAPHIES ON A TRAY!

We are going to decorate our lab and the scientists are a very important part of it.
A tray and a white and black photo of the scientists are the materials we used to show them to the rest of the school. Pupils look some info on internet and they write it on the trays. we love it!

Las bandejas de pastelería y unas fotos de científicos nos han servido para crear este material que usaremos para la decoración del laboratorio, ya que en unos dias comenzaremos la "II feria de los experimentos".
Los niños de 3º han escrito una pequeña biografía del personaje que han elaboradorado sobre la información recogida en internet. Ya expondremos el resultado en otro post. De todas formas nos ha gustado mucho como han quedado.

BLIND PEOPLE PAINTING

These are the pictures that pupils painted without seeing anything.They experimented the feeling of doing something like blind people.
 Here are the pictures they did.

They were organised in groups and they used bottle caps to paint.

Los niños en esta ocasión tuvieron la experiencia de pintar sin el sentido de la vista.Manifestaron sus opiniones y sensaciones y finalmente han expuesto sus trabajos.

MAKING DESIGNS: "OUR PUPPETS"

Our pupils 3rd grade have designed their own puppet and then they have made a real one using different materials.

En esta ocasión lo que pretendimos hacer es que los niños trabajaran a partir de un diseño previo y que después realizaran su trabajo ajustándose lo más posible a lo que habían propuesto. Como veis en la mayoría de los casos los niños han reproducido su diseño fielmente.
Ahora estamos usando las marionetas para presentar al personaje que han hecho en inglés  y más adelante les daremos otros usos. no os lo perdáis.

REUSING OR RECYCLING NEWSPAPERS?

We love the printed word or at least we try it, s o our first artwork using this, is inspired in Denise Fiedler’s illustrations.Denise Fiedler was an interior designer in Chicago and is focused on representing things she loves through cut paper.
Denise’s work highlights sets of objects—for example a line of chairs, animals, food, and fashion.
FIRST STEP:The 3rd grade pupils started their work drawing cats as they used to do.
SECOND STEP:was using the PDI ,we had several photos of different cats and they draw the different parts of the body of this animal.
THIRD STEP: Draw the parts of the cat on a piece of newspaper , they have to decide what was more suitable for the part of the body they wanted to draw ( this was the most difficult part). Her are some of the pieces of art of our little students.

Este es el primer collage que hacen los niños de 3º , está basado en los trabajos de Denise Fiedler que representa cosas cotidianas sobre la letra impresa.Nosotros hemos usado periódicos y papel en sucio. Nos faltan más obras que otro dia os presentaremos porque seguimos trabajando.
